Screening Results Confirmation

A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GCMS) is the preferred laboratory confirmatory method. Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any Drugs of Abuse test result, particularly when preliminary positive results are obtained via a urine drug test or a saliva drug test.
